Burnout is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion mixed with an uncharacteristic loss of belief and purpose. And in today's workplace, it's all too easy to suffer from it. In fact, the percentage of desk workers around the globe saying they feel burned out rose to 40% in 2022.
As a manager, you might be feeling isolated and under continuous pressure: expected by leaders to achieve more with less and faced with negativity within your team as they too feel the strain. Add to that a relentless and overwhelming workload of your own, and it's easy to see why you might "hit the wall".
