Mindtools Product Update - March 2026

by Ersan Fedai

Welcome to your March product update from Mindtools Kineo.

This month, we’re introducing a major step forward in how we build capability, alongside new content, platform improvements, and partner updates.

What’s New at Mindtools Kineo

Big announcement: Skills Accelerator is now live inside our M: Suite

Skills Accelerator is now live in our Professional tier, transforming how organizations build capability.

Instead of generic learning, individuals now follow personalised pathways driven by real skill-gap data, connecting:

  • assessment insights
  • targeted Manager Skills Builder content
  • ongoing reinforcement through nudges and reflection

With progress dashboards and clear next steps, teams can now track development over time and turn learning into measurable behaviour change.

Coming soon to the M: Suite

AI Skills Practice

Keep an eye out for new skills practice modules that will soon be added to the Skills Accelerator. These modules will enhance the ‘Apply’ stage of the journey, offering managers more hands‑on ways to practise and strengthen their priority skills as we continue to expand and integrate this capability. They’re short, scenario‑based modules that let managers practise everyday management situations in a safe, realistic way.

New Content This Month

The Mindtools Kineo Content team has released a wealth of new and refreshed resources in March.

So now you can:

  • improve your time management with the help of AI (and our brand-new article!)
  • brush up your presentation skills in our two-part “presenter masterclass” with Expert Skill Bite star Frankie Kemp.

The Pain Points podcast featured three other top-tier guests this month:

  • In What Is the Squeezed Middle of Management? Gary Cookson explains why middle managers are so important, what causes so many of them to struggle, and how they can move from feeling stuck in the sandwich to driving meaningful change.
  • Author and coach Sabina Nawaz unpicks a classic new-manager challenge in How Do You Manage the Pressure to Be Profitable?
  • And Liz McMillan tackles the question What Does It Mean to Be Misaligned? This former CEO of Dictionary.com reveals how to achieve a balance between passion and capacity – to enjoy the many benefits that alignment brings.

In the member newsletter we explored the challenges still facing women in leadership. We also shared some surprising benefits of reading – to coincide with World Book Day. We outlined ways to gain more confidence with commercial thinking. And we looked at the problems caused when managers struggle to build relationships at work – and the valuable difference it makes when they do!

We’ve updated two of our classic videos this month, to make them even easier to use. Get answers to the question What Is Resilience? And see if you embody the Four Traits of Resilient People

We’ve also significantly boosted our digital skills collection. There’s Three Keys to Digital Leadership addressing the advancement of AI, as well as new articles on Building Digital Literacy in Your Team and Developing a Digital Mindset.

And we’ve made a video about our five new Expert Skill Bite courses, highlighting their key features and the benefits they bring to managers and organizations.

Kineo Courses – Partner and content expansions

Vision 20/20 Australia

We’ve partnered with Vision 20/20 Australia to launch six new courses focused on eye health and vision care.

These courses help frontline professionals identify early warning signs and connect people with the right care.

Carly Iles, Chief Executive Officer of Vision 20/20 Australia says “Too many Australians experience preventable vision loss simply because early warning signs are missed. These courses are designed to build confidence among frontline professionals so they can recognise potential eye health issues early and connect people with the care they need. Partnering with Mindtools Kineo allows us to make this knowledge more accessible to organizations and workforces across Australia.”

The Access Group

Ten new construction health and safety courses are now available for UK learners, ready for demo and client deployment.
