Presenter: Burnout occurs when passionate, committed people become deeply disillusioned with a job that they had previously derived much of their identity and meaning from. They change from being enthusiastic and positive to exhausted and irritable.
Burnout is a serious condition and one that develops over time. So, in this video, we are going to look at some things you can do to avoid it.
First, take control of your To-Do List. Being overloaded day in day out can lead to burnout. So prioritize and delegate where possible. Talk to your boss or a trusted colleague and be open and honest about how you're struggling to cope.
Next, address your stress. Use relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation. And look after your physical health by taking regular breaks and exercise.

Give to others, kindness feels good. Even small things like giving kudos can help to energize us. So look for ways to pass it on whenever you can.
Finally, rediscover your purpose. Think about the deeper impact of your work. How does it help other people? How could you add more meaning to your day?
