This exercise is designed to help you identify areas of a partnership project which have been left open to risk.
It asks you to consider a range of relevant issues, including:
- whether senior managers have given the partnership project their full backing
- how well the project team members understand their responsibilities
- whether the partnership's goals and objectives are understood by everyone involved
- what support is avilable to project team members
- whether team members' development needs have been identified and met
Once you have completed the exercise, you can use your responses to formulate an action plan to amend these areas and decrease the risks to your partnership project.
Task
- Download the worksheet below. The first few questions are also shown in the table at the bottom of this page.
- Take 20 minutes to work through the questions on the sheet provided. Try to be as honest as possible when answering, as this will further help to reduce any potential risks to your project.
- The ‘action’ column can form the basis of an action plan which you can use as a guide when implementing changes to decrease the risks your project faces.
