New Business - Sales Executive
Are you looking for an excellent opportunity to expand your career in consultative sales? If so then come and join our talented team who sell our fantastic online leadership and management development solution to corporate clients.
Our highly valued New Business team play a vital role in helping the company to even greater success, proactively generating sales opportunities utilising their excellent sales experience to explore and understand the client’s needs so an effective solution can be offered.
In this role you’ll have a sales target and you will be identifying and building relationships with prospective clients in the US and UK, from initial contact through to selling and delivering fantastic learning solutions that meet their needs. You’ll be liaising with your clients by phone, email and video conference.
You will be trained in amazing Mind Tools’ products and in our consultative client management approach. You will develop an understanding of the L&D industry and how we engage individuals and organisations in learning online with our product.
You’ll be ambitious and thrive on closing deals. You’ll have a client service mindset and excellent communication skills and be great at building strong relationships. Above all else you’ll have a love for learning.
To join the team you simply need to show:
- Up to two years B2B sales experience including progressing opportunities using phone, email and web-demos
- A proactive sales hunter profile.
- Have knowledge and experience of managing multiple stakeholders and 2-3 month sales cycles.
- Experience of running on-line demos and articulating value to the customer.
- Ability to question and delve deep to understand the customers business needs.
- Experience of using word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Driven to achieve results.
- Proficient with communicating and developing business over the telephone.
- Able to quickly connect with people and generate rapport.
- Articulate and able to produce well written communications.
- Confident and effective presentation skills.

The role is office-based split between two locations, our trendy London office and our great barn conversion office just south of Horsham, mid-Sussex.
This role is full time and a typical working pattern is 10:30 - 19:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 - 17:30 Friday to cover US office hours.
