We call these skills "mind tools," because that's what they are. We believe that anyone can learn and use these simple processes and techniques to make the very most of their careers.

Established in 1996, our site helps more than 15,000,000 people each year, as well as providing cloud-based training solutions to companies and government agencies worldwide.

Members of our team are based in four continents. They comprise career experts, business people, coaches, writers, editors, and journalists – all of whom are focused on helping you make the very most of your career.

1996: MindTools.com launches as a free skills training site.

2003: The first Mind Tools e-courses are available for download.

2004: The regular Mind Tools eNewsletter launches.

2006: Mind Tools' community, the Mind Tools Club, launches.

2009: Annual web site visitors exceed 10 million.

2010: Mind Tools issues its 150th eNewsletter, reaching more than 300,000 subscribers.

2012: Mind Tools is awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise – the UK's top business award.
