I'll have a few notes, but speak from the heart. I direct the conversation in a certain way while at the same time allowing the flow to direct me. Does that make sense?
I'm naturally a private person, because of my job I have to talk to groups of people. I do exactly what this great article suggests; write a list then go for it. I find the group responds, remembers, and most importantly hears what I am saying. thank you and continue to offer relative articles.
You're welcome veda - and please continue commenting and sharing your thoughts. We all learn by hearing how other people do things and handle different situations.
I prefer to speak from my heart because with this,we become more open and engage more in a topic.it would also not bring out the actual information from the person.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, clare. I think our engagement is higher because people can feel you're more "real" when you talk from the heart. And yes - it definitely creates more trust too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
I know the substance to be covered, then speak totally from the heart - seems the only way to offer authenticity, which conveys itself to the hearts of most others. That;s my experience.
Nice article. But for me, whenever I am to have a formal conversation, I do combine the two techniques. I write down my points as a guide and make the presentation from the heart. It makes me stay focused.
