Many people get nervous before they speak in public. Some just get the usual symptoms of nervousness: a racing pulse, sweaty palms, and a shaky voice. Others feel sick and can barely stand up to talk.

So, what causes this? And how can you calm yourself, so that you can speak with confidence and conviction?
