To make these techniques part of your life, identify the next time that you need to perform under pressure. Make an entry in your diary an appropriate number of days in advance of this, reminding yourself to try out the techniques in this section to prepare for it.

 

Make appropriate use of the Anticipating Stress, Thought Awareness, Rational Thinking and Postitive Thinking and Performance Planning in preparing for the performance. Conduct an appropriate Post-Performance Review.

 

Compare the level of confidence you feel after this preparation with the level of confidence you would normally expect to feel.
