All products that can be ordered from this website are protected by copyright. We own the right to license them to you. They may not be downloaded, used or copied without our permission.

Our permission to you to use them is granted only if you license the products from us in accordance with these terms.


Introduction

These terms apply when you use our online ordering service to purchase Mind Tools products. Before proceeding to place an order, we ask that you read these terms carefully - they contain useful advice on how to use our online ordering service.

 

If you do not agree to these terms, then you must not use our ordering service. Do not tick the check box on the Order Form accepting terms and conditions, and do not proceed further with the order process.

 

If you do agree to these terms, please read this page and then check the box at the foot of the Order Form. You will then be able to place an order with us subject to these terms.

Forming a contract with us

  1. We do not offer to sell any of the products appearing in this website to you. Instead, we are inviting you to place an order with us and we reserve the right to decline any such order received from you in our absolute discretion.

     

  2. If we accept your order, we will notify you on acceptance, and a legally binding contract will be formed between us at the time of sending such notification to you. You can record this contract by printing this page, your order form, and your acceptance email.

     

  3. If we decline your order, your debit, credit or charge card will not be charged.

     

  4. In placing an order with us you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. We may vary such terms at any time.

Contract Terms

  1. The contract formed between us will be for the supply and download of the product(s) you specify in the order form. On formation of the contract, we will supply any physical product ordered and provide the download links for digital products ordered.

     

  2. Payment must be debit, credit or charge card as specified by you in the order form. On entry of your name, address and product details, you will be taken to a secure credit card entry page hosted by WorldPay (WorldPay is a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland).

     

  3. We offer all customers a 365 day money back guarantee. If you are not completely happy with the product or products you buy from us, let us know by post or email within 365 days of downloading them and you will receive a full refund on return of the product or products, with no questions asked. We regret that we cannot accept oral cancellations unless these are confirmed by post or email. This does not affect your statutory rights.

     

  4. We do not take responsibility for any event which is outside our reasonable control nor for any consequential loss arising from such an event. Please be aware that to the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability in respect of this website, your use of it or our on-line ordering service.

     

  5. We promise to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 in respect of any personal data you supply to us under the contract between us. We also promise to comply with our own privacy policy, which you can read by clicking here.

     

  6. We regret that we cannot accept orders from those under 18.

     

  7. No third party may rely on any term of the contract between us under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

     

  8. These terms and the contract between us shall be governed by English law and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
