"How to Lead" ProgramThis page explains the detail of the teleclasses, e-classes and support that are part of the "How to Lead: Discover the Leader Within You" Program. "How to Lead" TeleclassesMind Tools Teleclasses are interactive teleconference-based training courses and seminars, where participants dial in to learn from experienced experts in key subject areas. Teleclasses benefit people who learn most effectively in live, instructor-lead sessions, and who enjoy the interaction that comes with live training.
The "How to Lead" Program comes with three teleclasses "Know Your Leadership Self", "The Vision and Motivation of Leadership", and "You and Your Team: Leadership in Action". These guide you through the "How to Lead: Discover the Leader Within You", coaching you and motivating you to work through the material, answering any questions you have, and enriching your learning experience.
The next three teleclasses will be run on 11 and 18 October and 1 November 2005, lead by Laura MacLellan, leadership coach and leadership tutor at London Business School. The classes will be run at 12:30pm Los Angeles time, 3:30pm New York time, 7:30pm GMT/UTC, 8:30pm London time and 9:30pm Amsterdam time on these days (you can check other time zones using 7:30pm GMT/UTC at timeanddate.com.)
To access the class, you dial a US telephone number that we will give you when you join the program. If you're in the US, call costs are normal long distance rates. If you're calling from outside the US, call costs are normal international rates to the US (note that recent falls in international telecommunications costs mean that most countries have low cost calling plans to the US - for example, you can access the classes for just 3p a minute from the UK).
NB: Classes will be recorded and posted online afterwards: This means you can listen in to a recording if you miss the class or if you're in a time zone that doesn't work for you. And if you are unable to attend on these dates, please let us know in advance and we'll book you on following classes. "How to Lead" E-classesThe How to Lead E-Class is an email and workbook based training course, delivered and used in a time and place of your choosing. Backed by a full set of carefully developed training materials, you work through a structured series of "bite sized" email-based training modules. This helps you learn, try out and use new skills in a step-by-step way spaced over a period of time, giving you the steady practice, reinforcement and encouragement that is so important in turning good ideas into established habits.
We send e-class lessons one week apart, giving you plenty of time to complete one week's learning before the next week starts. The lessons guide you through the "How to Lead: Discover the Leader Within You" course, coaching you and motivating you to make the most of the material, enriching your learning experience and helping you maximize your learning experience. "How to Lead" SupportWhen you sign up to the "How to Lead" Supported Study program, you also get up to 30 instructor minutes of email-based support, answering any questions you might have on the course contents, explaining anything you don't understand and helping you make the very most of the material.
